We are sorry to announce that the Goose Creek Opry will not take place during 2009. We hope that members of the community will step forward to take over the reigns for future Oprys. Thank you for your past support and interest.

The Goose Creek Opry is a fun family event based on traditional American music. It is held annually on the last weekend in July.

The weekend centers on Bluegrass Pickin's and a fiddle contest with an art show and sale, silent auction, firemen's breakfast, children's activities, workshops, artisans and food vendors included. Most activities take place near the center of town - in and around the grassy and shaded town park.

Campgrounds and motels are located within walking distance.

Hosting the event is the Goose Creek Opry Association, an all-volunteer, Washington State Non-Profit organization dedicated to supporting young people entering the fields of music and the arts.

The Association supports and hosts other events throughout the year such as, workshops, fund-raisers, public awareness events and coordination with other local festivities.
